PENSION ACTUARIAL ANALYST(S) – SEATTLE, PORTLAND AND FOSTER CITY AREAS

Good technical and communication skills, and the ability to establish good working relationships with plan professionals.

Responsibilities will include preparing actuarial valuations and projections, preparing government forms, performing actuarial experience studies, and assisting with special projects as needed.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong project management skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Organize time and tasks effectively.
  • Strong and creative problem solving skills
  • Highly attentive to details.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of actuarial software (knowledge of Proval a plus)
  • Adaptable; strong interest in continual learning

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business related, or actuarial science with at least two actuarial exams passed and actively pursuing an actuarial designation; at least one year of actuarial pension experience.
